#ChinaStory A nine-year-old girl from the Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Northwest China's Qinghai Province, got a successful ear reconstruction at Jiangsu Province People's Hospital in China.A medical team from the hospital used her own costal cartilage to carve and implant a natural, symmetrical auricular framework via microsurgery. The new ear has good blood supply; her recovery was smooth, and she’s happy to look forward to tying her hair and wearing earrings.With her new ear, her smile was radiant. "Mom, does my new ear look nice? Soon, I'll be able to tie my hair up and wear beautiful earrings," she said.
